Diet At Allergy

 Such foodstuff as pumpkin, barley, a rye, oats, low-fat meat of beef or a bird, rice, vegetable oil (sunflower, olive), dried fruits (except for prunes), cucumbers, vegetable marrows, bush pumpkins, turnip, spinach, fennel, cabbage, white sweet cherry, white currant, a pear, green apples, canker-rose broth, green tea and still mineral water is considered the least allergenic.

Cross Allergy

It is impossible consider cross allergy as an individual type of allergy. it is probably a specific property. Peculiarity of cross allergy is that organism has a hyper sensibility not just to one allergen, but to some group of allergens which have a similar structure. The surprising thing is that person suffering from allergy to dust can also suffer from allergic reaction on a shrimp. It has a simple answer: similar set of amino acids in composition of shrimp and household dust. The most widespread pairs of allergens are already known to physicians. It is, for example, camomile and banana, pollen and apples. However cross allergy is so insidious that absolutely unexpected for you substance can act as a twin-allergen.

Symptoms of cross allergy differ in nothing from common allergic reactions. However, the more person lives with cross allergy, the more twin-allergens are rejected by his organism. Nervous Allergy

Very often it can be heard from doctors that the disease we suffer from has developed because of nerves and cannot be treated with medicines. The same is said about allergy. However in medical terminology there is another term for allergy which has developed because of nerves – pseudo-allergy. In this case it means lack of reaction “antigen-antibody”, natural for allergy.

How does nervous allergy appear? Under the influence of steady stresses and nerve strains in a human body Histaminum, which is known as inflammation mediator, starts to be produced strenuously. In the presence of a large number of Histaminum in blood, the organism does not need immediate contact to allergen, because allergic reaction is started independently. It is almost impossible to destroy mold spores. Their sizes are too small, and they easily pass through filters and masks.

As a rule, mold settles in wet places, such as bathroom tile or place under bath, in cellars, in mattresses, on leaky attics, on houseplants and in flowerpots, on wet windows and walls. Air humidifiers only promote mold spreading. Therefore, when using the last, it is recommended to do breaks and to air the room, especially in spring and in autumn.

Very often producers use mold derivatives substances (in toothpaste, soap, cosmetics) for manufacturing of household chemicals.

Food at their wrong storage can become covered by mold. Mold loves yeast and bakery products very much. Never eat bread having even the tiniest spot of mold. Believe, fungus is already in each cell of this bread.

People with mold allergy most likely will also have allergy to such medicinal preparation as Penicillin.

Milk Allergy

Milk allergy currently is quite widespread phenomenon, both among adults and among children. This disease can be determined as human body intolerance of milk protein – casein. Some people feel unpleasant symptoms of disease after use of cow’s milk only while the goat and sheep is tolerantly accepted by them, other people have an allergic reaction absolutely to all dairy products.

It is proved by numerous researches in the field of pediatrics that allergy to milk is provoked by early introduction to a child ration different baby formulas on the basis of cow’s milk. It is explained by that fact that receiving milk protein, gastrointestinal tract of the child having not been formed yet activates a protective reaction of the immune system. Disability to split larger molecules of casein completely leads to identification by their organism of the child as some foreign elements. As result, there are implications of various allergy symptoms. Some children, however, have allergic reaction to milk from the first days of life. There is an absolutely small percent of babies suffering from allergy to maternal milk.

 Adults often have allergy to all types of milk because of organism intolerance of lactose or milk sugar. There is a special enzyme in human intestine – lactase, – which splits lactose on other components. At insufficient amount of the specified enzyme the person also has an allergic reaction.

It is categorically undesirable to the people having milk allergy to use milk of animal origin. Vegetable milk (for example, soy milk) can only be used as a substitute which does not cause allergy reaction.

Allergy And Cancer

Until recently there was general opinion of rather positive influence of allergy to oncology. Physicians considered that depression of probability of oncology disease for allergic persons is caused by the raised organism susceptibility to foreign neoplasms.

Histamin as a mediator of various allergic reactions is generated by immune cells within period of an allergy exacerbation more intensively.  At the same time, besides catalyst role at allergy, histamin carries out protective function of tumors during inflammation in the organism from work of immune system. Therefore the conclusion can be as follows: allergy promotes the development of oncologic diseases but if to block or limit generating of histamin by organism in due time is will lead to a tumor growth stop.

This conclusion was proved by practical consideration when carrying out experiment on the mice sick with a melanoma. Today experiments on application of antihistamine preparations in a cancer therapy are prepared.

Allergy And Environment

At the beginning of the last century very few people suffered from allergic reactions. It is not hard to make it clear, having properly asked your grandmothers and grandfathers about it. Widespread Allergens

Mold funguses, medicinal preparations (Sulfanilamidums, Penicillinums, Salicylas, local anesthetics). chemical detergents, nickel, rubber can call allergy.

Pollen Allergy

Pollen allergy (hay fever or pollinosis) is a disease caused by pollen of the blossoming plants. It is the most frequent kind of an allergy. Pollen from air is accumulates on eyes mucosa, mouth, nose, bronchi. People, sensitive to pollen, have immune system hyper reaction and symptoms of allergy. Hay fever develops only during blossoming of certain plants.

Fast and reliable way of treatment of allergy does not exist. The most perspective is immunotherapy. Allergen solutions are injected into skin of patient, increasing its concentration within many weeks. As a response human organism develops the antibodies functioning as antidote. Therapy is carried out in advance that prior to blossoming the patient loses sensitivity to a dangerous type of pollen. At an exacerbation it is impossible to carry out an immunotherapy. Specific medicines are applied for allergy treatment.

The best way of prophylaxis is to go away for some period to other climate. If it is impossible, it is necessary to exclude walks in the country, not to open doors and a windows, to air the room when it is not windy, it is better after a rain. It is possible to hang up some layers of the moistened gauze or a cotton sheet on a window.
